Apprenticeships: If you are interested in one of our apprenticeships through ALBAT (Linemen, Substation Technicians, Traffic Signal Technicians, URD Technicians) you can visit www.albat.org. You can keep monitoring both our website and ALBAT's website for updates regarding application dates.

We have another apprenticeship for our Line Clearance Tree Trimming Program that you may sign up for. You can come down to our Local and sign our Woodsman book to begin the hiring process. You must have a valid driver's license to sign up for this program.

Out-of-Work Books

You can always come down to our Local and sign our out-of-work books, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm.

Bring your Driver's License and CDL (or CDL Temporary Instruction Permit, if you have one). A CDL/permit is required to sign certain books. Bring copies of other related certifications you may have, and we will save the certificate to your record.

Once you sign up on our books, you are put on the list, waiting for a call from one of our Agents to place you with a Contractor. Please be patient, this process can take some time. However, our Agents are working diligently to try to get all of our members and prospective members to work as quickly as possible.
