President Biden Remarks at the 40th International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Convention

President Biden, while addressing the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers convention in Chicago, said “the middle class built this country,” but “unions built the middle class.” The president also thanked the union for their support, saying the “only reason I am standing here as your president of the United States of America is because the IBEW came out for me early.” President Biden also touched on job creation, infrastructure investment, affordable health care and childcare, and the economy.
