Apprenticeships

If you are interested in one of our apprenticeships through ALBAT (Linemen, Substation Technicians, Traffic Signal Technicians) you can visit www.albat.org.  You can keep monitoring both our site and ALBAT's sites for updates.

We have another apprenticeship for our Line Clearance Tree Trimming Program, that you could sign up for. You can come down to our Local and sign up on our Woodsman book to begin the hiring process. You must have a valid driver's license to sign up for this program.

Out-of-Work Books

You can always come down to our Local and sign up on our out-of-work books, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Bring your Driver's License or CDL (or CDL Temporary Instruction Permit, if you have one.) A CDL/permit is required to sign on certain Books.

Once you sign up on our books, you are put on the list, waiting for a call from one of our Agents to place you with a Contractor. Please be patient, this process can take some time, however, our Agents are working diligently to try to get all of our members and prospective members to work as quickly as possible.
